Creating a simple sub-collection

A CollectAny file contains what's called a 'CollectionSet'. This file is a set of one or more collections.

You might have a simple collection of 'Roman Coins' and this is the one-and-only collection that is contained in your CollectionSet. A 'set' of one.

However one of the powerful features of CollectAny is the ability to hold multiple collections that are related to each other in some way. An advanced example might be a 'Customer Orders' CollectionSet which contains three related collections : 'Customers' ,'Customer orders' and 'Products'.

Sub-collections are very powerful and can open the door to complex automated reports that can look very effective. The video below shows how to create a simple sub-collection.
